First Run Theatre Playwrights’ Workshop
“Thank you for opening your program and lovely venue for a reading of The Bhutto Project. It was a wonderful evening culminating in valuable feedback and suggestions. Exactly what such an evening is intended to do.”
– Dennis Corcoran, playwright
First Run Theatre has begun The FRT Playwrights’ Workshop, formerly The St. Louis Writer’s Group. The Workshop is now a project of FRT with an ongoing mission to assist/foster writers in developing their work for theatrical or film/video production in a supportive environment with input from fellow writers, theater professionals and the play-going public. The Workshop goal is to help the best new work by local writers get to stages and screens throughout our area and the country.
Meetings are free and are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Location is Square One Brewery, 1727 Park Ave. in the city’s Lafayette Square neighborhood.
All are welcome!
